Hello friends

We have a whole lot of readers here. People who have read across every possible genre - fictional thrillers, self-improvement, spirituality, travelogues, business and management, mystery, biographies and just about everything else.

And from all the books we have read, there are a few that stand out in terms of theoir sheer vividness, and their ability to leave us enriched, warm, thrilled or inspired forever.

So today, I very eagerly, invite you to share the best books you have ever read...the kind of books that you consider as your buddies for life - the ones you can read them over and over again and still get bowled over. Please share your list, from 1 book to a max of 15 recommendations. They could belong to any genre.

Looking forward to YOUR recommended list of 15 Best Ever Books!

Cheers,
AJ

Though I have read a few books.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is one of my all time favorite motivation book.

In fiction and fast paced dramas I like All Dan Brown books.

In crime and real stories I like most of the books of Hussain Zaidi like from Dongri to Dubai, Byculla to Bangkok, Black Friday: The True Story of the Bombay Bomb Blasts, Mafia Queens of Mumbai: Stories of Women from the Ganglands, etc

rest I have read many more books but I forget after reading, but the above mentioned few books have made space in my mind.

Thanks @the maskeditor!

Agree...The Alchemist is a real good one. I read Dan Brown's Inferno last year, and it was quite gripping. In fiction, Mr Lulum stands out as my favourite. Teh alst novel I read by him was The Altman Code...doesn't disappoint you one bit.

Hussain Zaidi I have not read yet... not one from the list of books you have mentioend here: Dongri to Dubai, Byculla to Bangkok, Black Friday: The True Story of the Bombay Bomb Blasts, Mafia Queens of Mumbai: Stories of Women from the Ganglands, etc. Since you recommedn them, I will make it a point to search for them and read-up.

Many thanks for sharing your list and giving me ideas what to read next!

I was not sure if comics are allowed, I would like to include many of the Amar Chita Katha's (ACK's), Tinkle and Tintin. They are my all time favorites, Even today I like to download the digital editions of the old ACK's and tinkle and reading them is a big stress buster for me.

I have read Amish's Shiva Trilogy as well, the story is good but as you go on progressing book by book i felt a lot of things as repetitive and also it becomes predictive.

Though I have read most of the books of Dan Brown, Eind Bolyton, and the hardy boys series but i am not a big fan of foreign authors.
