With the purpose of promoting reading among all our users, this is a selection of readings recommended by three of our most recognized users-uploaders in the section Reading Room: @penprak, @Abhilasha1951, @Basston and our guest this week: @Lemuel Irabor. ①

The books selected by them for this week are:

1).- The Falcon of Sparta by Conn Iggulden
Recommended reading by @Basston
"I don't yet have the words to describe how magnificent this new standalone novel by Conn Iggulden is. The March of the Ten Thousand is an extraordinary tale and Iggulden breathes life into every step of it - he had me hooked by the end of the very first page. This could well be the finest book that this author has written, which would make it very special indeed." / @Basston

2).- Business Adventures: Twelve Classic Tales fromthe World of Wall Street by John Brooks
Recommended reading by @abhilasha1951

"“BusinessAdventuresremains the best business book I’ve ever read.” —BillGates,The Wall Street Journal

What do the $350 millionFord Motor Company disaster known as the Edsel, the fast and incredible rise ofXerox, and the unbelievable scandals at General Electric and Texas Gulf Sulphurhave in common? Each is an example of how an iconic company was defined by aparticular moment of fame or notoriety; these notable and fascinating accountsare as relevant today to understanding the intricacies of corporate life asthey were when the events happened.

Stories about Wall Street are infused with drama andadventure and reveal the machinations and volatile nature of the world offinance. LongtimeNew Yorkercontributor John Brooks’s insightful reportage is so full ofpersonality and critical detail that whether he is looking at the astoundingmarket crash of 1962, the collapse of a well-known brokerage firm, or the boldattempt by American bankers to save the British pound, one gets the sense thathistory repeats itself.

Five additional stories on equally fascinating subjects roundout this wonderful collection that will both entertain and inform readers . . . Business Adventuresis trulyfinancial journalism at its liveliest and best." / @abhilasha1951
